Blue Water 11mm ( 7/16" ) High Stretch (Dynamic) Ropes

Caution: Dynamic ropes are manufactured for the specific purpose of absorbing one person shock loads occurring in a fall that initiates above the last anchor point (fall factor >1). In order to achieve these characteristics it is less resistant to abrasion, lower in breaking strength, and stretches more than a comparable sized static rescue rope. It is not recommended to use a dynamic rope for any application requiring low-stretch rescue ropes (i.e. hauling, lowering, highlines, etc.).

Due to the high amount of stretch dynamic ropes must not be used for belaying rescue size (2 person) loads as the significant amount of travel encountered during a fall may result in injury to subjects on rope colliding with terrain, objects, etc.
