MSA Shock Absorber

Pouch type shock absorbing device which in the event of a fall is designed to dissipate the energy of the impact by the progressive tearing of precisely engineered stitching.

When using the device the Arrest Force of a six foot free fall will be limited to 4 kN (900 Ibf).

The device also incorporates an integral passive back-up in the event that the tear webbing tears out completely. The shock absorbing device is mandatory if the risk of injury to workers in a fall is to be reduced.

Capacity: One Person. Design working load is 136 kg (300 Ibs).

Max. Arresting Force: 4 kN (900 Ibf).
