Incongunction with both a MSA Extendible pole and Pole Adaptor this special carabiner completes the MSA Reach Pole rescue system. Its special designed gate will hold open till you hook it into the victims harness D-ring. Once the carabiner has pressure on its spine it will release the gate, closing it automatically.

Designed to assist in the rescue of a worker who has fallen and is hanging by their fall protection lanyard.

A snap hook is held on the end of the pole allowing rescuers to clip a rope directly into the worker's harness D-ring so that they can be pulled to safety.

Once clipped the pole is removed. This technique allows rescuers to perform a rapid rescue without putting anyone at risk and without the need of very specialized equipment or skills.
