Con-Space Power Talk Box System

The CSI-2131 Power Talk Box is a continuous hands-free, untethered two-way communication accessory which connects to any CON-SPACE hardline communication system.

Identical in function to its sister product the CSI-2130 Talk Box, but with amplifier circuitry and larger speaker to make it over 30 times louder. A moulded fibreglass anti-static enclosure is constructed to survive harsh working conditions, is completely waterproof and houses state of the art electronic circuitry with automatic gain control, a high output speaker and a sensitive microphone. The A.G.C. circuitry protects other users on the system from any unwanted high noise peaks. Another built-in safety feature is the critical placement of controls and accompanying hardware to prevent either the speaker or the microphone from being obstructed and blocking communication at any time. An alarm button allows a 100 dBA siren to sound at the remote station.

Suitable for confined space entry and rescue, heavy urban SAR, HAZMAT, trench rescue or any rope rescue or technical rescue scenario. For simple 2 station applications where ambient noise is not a problem and personal wired systems are not needed but a means of communications is beneficial there is the Power Talk Box System. By simply connecting two Talk Box units together with a cable, a simple intercom system is created. With a push-to-talk button on one station, usually the attendant station, unwanted background sound can be kept out.
