SMC NFPA Rescue Figure 8 w/ears

The `D' shaped carabiner attachment point doubles as belay plate. Ears help keep the rope from slipping up and knotting at the top of the descender. Constructed of aluminum, a special hard anodizing (black) is used to provide longer wear.

UL Classified NFPA 1983 (2006 ed.) Class "G" General use and is so labeled.
